What does "traceable calibration" mean?
It means every measurement we make is linked, through an unbroken chain of comparisons, back to national measurement standards. That traceability is what lets you rely on your readings in an audit or a dispute.
Are you ISO 9001 certified?
Yes. AmpTech operates an ISO 9001 certified quality management system, so your calibrations are delivered under a controlled, audited process.
Are you NATA accredited?
AmpTech is ISO 9001 certified and our calibrations are traceable to national standards. We are not currently NATA accredited — if your scope strictly requires NATA endorsement we will say so up front and recommend a suitable provider.
Do you offer on-site calibration in Perth?
No. All calibration is carried out in our Caversham lab, where we can control conditions and use our full set of reference standards. To keep it easy, you can drop equipment in, or we can collect it and return it to your door. Test & tag is different — that we do on your site.
Do you offer pickup and drop-off?
Yes. We can collect your equipment, calibrate it, and return it to you — handy when you can't spare the downtime or the trip. Just ask when you book.
Do you do test and tag as well as calibration?
Yes. We provide test and tag to AS/NZS 3760 alongside calibration, so you can keep your equipment accurate and your workplace compliant with a single provider. Test & tag is done at your premises; calibration is done in our lab.
How often should my equipment be calibrated?
A 12-month interval suits most instruments, but it depends on how the equipment is used and your own quality requirements. We can set a recall interval to match and remind you before it is due.
