Thermal Calibration FAQs

What temperature range do you calibrate over?

Our dry-well covers −25 °C to +140 °C, which suits cold storage, ambient monitoring, food handling and most HVAC and process work. If your instrument is used above 140 °C, tell us — we will say so up front rather than certify only the part of the range we can reach.

Do you calibrate infrared (non-contact) thermometers?

Not at present. An IR thermometer has to be calibrated against a blackbody source, which is different equipment from the dry-well used for contact probes. We calibrate the contact thermometers and probes instead.

Do you calibrate temperature data loggers?

We calibrate temperature and humidity data loggers at multiple points and supply a certificate suitable for quality and compliance records.
