Amptech Pty Ltd (AmpTech) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected throughamptechservices.com.au, consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

The only place this website collects personal information is the enquiry form on our contact page. When you submit it, we receive:

• your name;
• your email address;
• your phone number, if you choose to provide one;
• your company name, if you choose to provide one;
• the service you selected; and
• the equipment list or message you write in the enquiry field.

Name, email and the message are required so we can respond. Everything else is optional. We do not ask for, and you should not send us, payment card details, bank details or government identifiers through this form.

Why we collect it

We use what you send us to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, arrange pickup or scheduling, and keep a record of the job if you become a customer. We do not use it for anything else without asking you first.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We will not add you to a marketing list on the strength of a quote request.

How it reaches us and where it is stored

The form submission is delivered to us as an email, sent through our transactional email provider, Resend. It arrives in the AmpTech mailbox atinfo@amptechservices.com.au and is stored there and in our business records. This website is hosted by Vercel.

Some of these providers store or process data on servers outside Australia. By sending an enquiry you consent to that overseas handling for the purpose of getting your message to us.

Analytics and cookies

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. It reports on aggregate traffic and does not use cookies to build an advertising profile of you. This site does not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell analytics data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into work are retained only as long as they are useful for following up, then deleted. Where you become a customer, records relating to calibration certificates, test & tag registers, quotes and invoices are kept for as long as our tax, quality-system and record-keeping obligations require.

Keeping it secure

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access — including access controls on our mailbox and business systems. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information through the form.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Emailinfo@amptechservices.com.au or call0434 934 711 and we will respond within a reasonable period.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal information, you can contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you remain dissatisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and revise the date at the top.
